Proprietors Bryony and David welcome children and dogs and encourage guests to enjoy their beautiful gardens, whether it's
sampling an aperitif in the gypsy caravan or reading a good book in the rose garden. Keen walkers themselves, they can advise on
some wonderful, local, rural and coastal walks - and the very best in Sussex country pubs! Maps and mouth-watering picnics are available on request.
The lovely town of Lewes is just five minutes away, and is brimming with antique shops, boutiques, cafes, farmers markets and wonderful eateries
(Bills is legendary!), as well as the castle and county court. Brighton is just 15 minutes away for those looking for some serious shopping or
socialising and is one of the UK's hottest spots for restaurants, bars and clubs. And if an intoxicating shot of culture is what you are looking for,
there is always the wonderful opera house Glyndebourne just a few minutes from the door.
Cobbe Place Barn provides perfect accommodation for four to six people and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and generous living space.
Alternatively Cobbe Place Barn can be booked in separate parts. Barn Part 1 (sleeps 2-4) and Barn Part 2 (sleeps 2) have individual entrances and are self-contained.
Barn Part 1
Comprising of a spacious sitting room and simple kitchenette which includes a fridge, microwave and gas hob, a bathroom with bath and shower and double bedroom,
Barn Part 1 boasts beautiful exposed beams, original flint walls and French doors opening out on to a charming patio area. The sitting room has a comfortable
sofa bed for additional guests. Flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo and wireless internet access all available. Dog bed and bowls can be provided.
Barn Part 2
Comprising of a large bedroom with sofa and adjoining shower-room, Barn Two can be booked on a bed and breakfast basis or as self catering if booked in conjunction with Barn Part 1.

Other facilities
Cobbe Place provides its guests with beautiful bed linen and towels which will be changed weekly or more frequently by request. A complimentary (and rather delicious!) hamper
is provided to guests booking on a self catering basis. There is also a washing machine and BBQ available on site for the exclusive use of guests.
Self Catering or Bed and Breakfast?
Guests booking Barn Part 1 or both Barn Part 1 and 2 should do so on a self catering basis, although a delicious breakfast can be provided by request on certain days.
Some guests like to splash out on a Cobbe Place breakfast at the weekends as a special treat - great, healthy food and no washing up! This can be served at the Barn or 'al fresco'
in the Cobbe Place gardens. For guests booking in to Barn Part 2 where there are no kitchen facilities, this can be done on a bed and breakfast basis only.
